yab chr$()

Output From yab reserved special characters in text

If you want to write a text in yab, contains the programming language reserved characters, you have to use ASCII (American Standard Code for Information Interchange) signs. These can be added using the Chr$() command. The desired character is selected from the table listed below, in the form of a number, and transmits this number between the brackets of the command.

To insert the Chr$() command into a text, you need to separate the position of the sign and add the command with the required number into it:

DRAW TEXT x1,y1 , "This is a "+Chr$(34)+"example text"+Chr$(34)+" for the tutorial", View$
example: DRAW TEXT

The example of a text in which the words "example text" are set in quotation marks.

This is possible everywhere, whether tooltip, statusbar, view name, etc.
